Metric Specialties, Inc. was founded in 1983 by Sharon Davis in Burbank, California. With a sharp eye for detail and an unmatched dedication to customer service, Sharon built a reputation for being the go-to source for metric fasteners in the region. Years later, her son Ryan Reed joined the company, carrying on her legacy and expanding operations to meet the needs of manufacturers across industries — from aerospace to defense. 

In 2025, Ryan partnered with his nephew, Kevin Reed, bringing a new generation of leadership and vision to the business. Together, they continue to honor Sharon’s original values: precision, reliability, and a personal touch in every order.

Now with over 40 years of industry experience, Metric Specialties remains family-owned and proudly supports customers nationwide with hard-to-find metric fasteners, specialty hardware, and project-ready expertise.
